The Details:

  • April 8, 6:30p - 9:00p
  • Instruction provided by: Resident and Lead Chef Instructor, Chef Alli Vyn
  • Class Type: Demonstration style with samplings

Join us for an unforgettable evening of crafting a perfect pie! In this demonstration-style class, we’ll start with the foundation of every great pie: the crust. You’ll learn the ins and outs of pie dough—what to add, what to avoid, and the best techniques to achieve that perfectly flaky and buttery texture every time.

We’ll create multiple pie variations: a lovely weaved lattice-topped Strawberry-Basil-Balsamic pie; Savory Tomato, Mozzarella, and Pesto Caprese Handpies; and a local cult-classic: Sister Pie's Salted Maple Pie!

You'll leave class with expert-level pie-making knowledge just in time for Easter or any spring gathering. And don’t worry—there will be plenty of pie to enjoy! Come hungry, and bring your love for pie!

Participants will also receive an exclusive shopping experience with 10% off at East Elm Kitchen Co. the night of the event! Excluding sale items and special merchandise.

Hosted by East Elm Kitchen Co. at our shop: 173 West Liberty Street, Plymouth MI. Age minimum is 15. Due to limited space availability, only paid registrants are able to attend. 14 participant maximum capacity.
