Before we say goodbye to our beloved farmers markets at end of October, let's celebrate our locally-grown autumnal produce and the farmers that grow it! In this workshop, we are focusing on a snapshot in time featuring exactly what we find at the market and what’s most likely abundant in the last of your home garden. Fall produce, cooked simply to coax out its warm and comforting flavors, paired alongside risotto as the star of the menu is a versatile meal for busy weeknights just the same as it is for entertaining guests! We will provide instruction for how to prepare so you can recreate this dish at home with any season’s bounty.
The menu:
- Butternut Squash Risotto with Sage Chili Crisp
- Honey & Peppercorn Glazed Ruby Roasted Roots
- Fall Greens Salad with Farmers Market Veggie Ribbons, Candied Pepitas, and Maple-Mustard Vinaigrette
