Looking for a sweet evening of cupcake decorating with buttercream icing? Come join Audrey Edwards, owner of Sweetflour LLC, for a floral cupcake decorating class at East Elm Kitchen Co. using buttercream icing. Audrey will provide you with guided instruction using common cake decorating tips to make beautiful buttercream icing florals. After some practice, you'll adorn your very own set of cupcakes using these new decorating skills!

This class is approximately 2.5 - 3 hours in length. During class, participants will be given step-by-step, guided instructions on how to fill cupcakes with filling, load cake decorating bags and use several different decorating tips to make buttercream flowers and leaves. Each participant will then receive a set of 6 cupcakes to design their own floral cupcakes to take home and enjoy. Participants will leave class with a basic understanding of how to make some popular buttercream flowers and gain the confidence of being able to apply these new skills to cupcakes and cakes at home!

Participants will be provided with the following supplies for class and to take home:

  • 6 cupcakes and buttercream icing
  • 3-4 common decorator tips
  • Coupler and piping bags
  • 1 laminated practice sheet
  • Buttercream icing recipe
  • Box to take your cupcakes home

Participants will also receive an exclusive shopping experience with 15% off all non-sale items store-wide at East Elm Kitchen Co. the night of the event! Excluding sale items and special merchandise.
